Apart from expanding the Pulsar range, Bajaj is also planning new KTM and Triumph bikes to access GST benefits
During the Q3FY26 earnings call, Bajaj reported strong growth in both domestic sales and exports. In the two-wheeler segment, offerings like the Pulsar range, Chetak EV and KTM + Triumph motorcycles recorded strong performances. During the earnings call, Bajaj also hinted at some products coming in 2026. Let’s see the details.
new pulsar bike
Bajaj will launch several new Pulsar bikes in 2026, which will largely be refreshed versions or new variants. Some products like the 2026 Pulsar 150 Twin Disc and Pulsar 125 Split Seat variants have already reached showrooms. There are plans to introduce more new Pulsar bikes in March and May 2026. These may also include ADVs and off-roaders under the Pulsar brand or a dedicated brand.
Along with the 2026 editions, Bajaj will also introduce the next-generation versions of the Pulsar Classic range of bikes – 125, 150 and 220F. These are expected to get major updates like new chassis and more refined engines. The suspension setup can be updated for a sporty refined ride experience. Along with the jump in features, some new colors and graphics may also be introduced.

Pulsar bikes will continue to be the primary focus area for Bajaj. These contribute to about 2/3 of the brand’s total two-wheeler sales. Pulsar bike sales in December 2025 stood at 79,616 units. This is an impressive YoY gain of 21.42% compared to 65,571 units in December 2024. Around 30% of sales are contributed by 125cc Pulsar bikes. The share of other Pulsar bikes is around 16% (151cc-200cc), 12% (126cc-150cc) and 6% (201cc-250cc). In the premium segment, Bajaj would like to increase sales of Pulsar NS400Z.
New bike brand, KTM + Triumph planning
Bajaj Auto Executive Director Rakesh Sharma, without giving any specific details, said that they are working on a completely new product. This will be a non-Pulsar brand, which was also mentioned in last quarter’s earnings call. While not disclosing the exact launch timeline, Sharma said that the new product will be launched in the next financial year. And this can be expected in the first part of the financial year 2026-27.
Another focus area for Bajaj is to restructure its 400cc portfolio to benefit from lower GST rates. While bikes below 350cc benefited from the GST cut (from 28% to 18%), bikes above 350cc are now taxed at a higher rate (from 31% to 40%). In the short term, Bajaj has absorbed the increased costs to maintain the momentum seen with its KTM and Triumph bikes.

In the third quarter of FY 2025-26, KTM and Triumph bikes recorded sales of over 30,000 units. This marks a growth of 30%, driven by the consistent performance of the new KTM models and Triumph models. However, it will be challenging to absorb the increased cost of GST in the long run. Bajaj is working with KTM and Triumph to consider portfolio restructuring, so that these bikes can benefit from lower GST rates. This strategy is likely to be implemented for the range-topping Dominar and Pulsar bikes as well.
In the EV sector, Chetak continues to deliver strong results. The Chetak range currently contributes around 16% to the brand’s total sales. In CY 2025, Chetak was ranked second in the electric two-wheeler segment with a market share of over 21%. A new model, the Chetak C25, was launched in January 2026 at an accessible price of Rs 91,399. With continued network expansion, Chetak is now available in 800 cities.
