EV Portfolio and Mixed Trends

However, on MoM basis, sales declined 8.75% to 766 units. The ZS EV recorded sales of 344 units, marking a decline of 13.8% from 399 units. The replacement for the Gloster will be the Majestor, which is scheduled to be launched in the coming weeks.
EV vs ICE sales mix
Electric vehicles continued to dominate the brand’s portfolio, further dragging down MG’s sales. EV sales stood at 3,642 units in February 2026, registering a year-on-year growth of 16.7% compared to 3,121 units sold in February 2025. However, on a MoM basis, EV sales declined by 17.7% in January 2026 to 4,426 units.

In contrast, ICE models saw strong momentum, with sales rising sharply to 1,315 units, a year-on-year increase of 49.3% from 881 units. Even on MoM basis, ICE sales grew by 215.3% compared to 417 units in January 2026. This shift indicates that while EVs continued to contribute the majority of MG volumes, ICE models played a significant role in driving overall growth during the month.
