The Kia Seltos emerged as the best-selling model for the brand last month with sales of 10,308 units. This is the second consecutive month when the new Seltos has sold more than 10 thousand units. This represents a strong growth of 59.91% year-on-year compared to 6,446 units sold in February 2025. However, on MoM basis, sales declined marginally by 3.11% compared to 10,639 units in January 2026. The recently updated Seltos continues to attract buyers with its refreshed features and strong positioning in the mid-size SUV segment.

Kia Sonet stood second with 9,750 units, registering a healthy growth of 28.32% compared to 7,598 units sold in February last year. On a monthly basis, Sonet sales declined by 11.35% to 10,998 units in January 2026. Despite the MoM decline, Sonet continues to see a strong foothold in the sub-4 meter SUV segment.

Kia Carens Clavis/EV recorded sales of 6,815 units in February 2025 compared to 5,318 units in February 2025, registering a 28.15% year-on-year growth. Unlike other models, it recorded a strong MoM growth of 20.98% compared to 5,633 units sold in January 2026, indicating growing demand for both ICE and EV versions of the MPV. Kia is preparing to launch new Clavis EV GT Line variant, details have been leaked.

The Kia Ciros reported sales of 662 units in February 2026. While this marks a sharp decline of 87.80% from 5,425 units sold in February 2025, the model saw a significant growth of 140.73% MoM compared to just 275 units sold in January 2026. Kia is also preparing to introduce the Ciros EV, which has already been spotted testing and is expected to launch later this year.

Kia Carnival recorded sales of 75 units last month, down 68.62% from 239 units in February 2025. However, on MoM basis, sales improved by 29.31% compared to 58 units in January 2026. Positioned as a premium MPV, the Carnival caters to a niche audience, which is reflected in its relatively low volume.

Overall, Kia India maintained a stable performance month-on-month, achieving double-digit growth year-on-year. The brand’s core models – Seltos, Sonet and Carensin – continue to sell well, while new and niche offerings like the Citroën and Carnival show mixed trends.
