With the Evitara, Suzuki will look to expand its presence in Brazil. This is part of a broader strategy to make Evitara available in more than 100 countries. Suzuki is already shipping the Evitara to around 29 countries including European markets like Japan and the UK. In Latin America, Evitara can be introduced in other countries besides Brazil, such as Chile, Peru and Colombia.
The Suzuki Evitara in Brazil is largely identical to the India-spec version. Dimension-wise, the SUV is 4,275 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, 1,635 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Boot space is 310 litres. In Brazil, the Evitara will be available in a single top-spec trim. Users will be able to access the entire set of features available with the SUV. The exterior construction and equipment list is largely similar to the India-spec model.
Key features include a dynamic front facia with LED projector headlamps and Nextray 3-point matrix LED DRLs. It also features R18 alloy wheels with aero garnish and dual-tone paint scheme. The Evitara features square wheel arches and body colored ORVMs with integrated turn signals. One can see the blacked-out B-pillar, body cladding and the rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar.
At the rear, the SUV features a raked windshield, matrix tail lamps and a layered design for the chunky bumper. Color options for the Evitara in Brazil include Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, Celestial Blue and Breeze Green (with black roof). These are the ones available with Evitara in India.

Users will be able to access features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other key features include Infinity premium audio system by Harman, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic air conditioning and a fixed glass sunroof.
The safety kit is quite strong with features like 7 airbags, 360° surround view camera, electronic stability control, traction control, multiple collision braking, electronic parking brake with auto hold and hill descent control. In Brazil, the Evitara comes with the AllGrip-E system, offering drive modes of Auto and Trail. When Auto mode is on, the torque supplied to the front and rear wheels is automatically adjusted to achieve better traction on uneven surfaces. In Trail mode, more extreme terrains like mud and snow can be tackled. The Evitara supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW. This charges from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. When using a 7kW AC charger, it takes approximately 9 hours to charge from 10% to 100%.
