Recently, Huawei has introduced its new flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 80 Pro in the international market in China. This phone was introduced in November, but then it was launched only in some markets, now the company has launched it internationally. Some changes have been made in this version, due to which some new features and changes can be seen in it.
Huawei has also introduced its other devices like Watch GT Runner 2, Watch Ultimate 2 and MatePad Mini during this launch event. However, the international price of Mate 80 Pro has not been revealed yet.
Premium experience with large display
For good user experience, the company has given a large 6.75 inch OLED display in Huawei Mate 80 Pro, whose resolution is 2,832 × 1,280 pixels. This screen comes with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Apart from this, the company has given a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Due to which one gets good experience even in sunlight.
Talking about the processor, the company has not given information about the chipset used in the international model of Huawei Mate 80 Pro. However, the model which was launched in China had Kirin 9030 Pro processor. The smartphone runs on EMUI 15.0, which is Huawei’s own software platform. Talking about RAM and storage, it has only one variant of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in the international market. Apart from this, this phone will be available in Gold, Green and Black colors.
Triple camera setup with 50 megapixel primary camera
Talking about the camera, Huawei Mate 80 Pro has a triple rear camera setup. Its main camera is 50 megapixels, which supports OIS i.e. Optical Image Stabilization. Apart from this, a 40 megapixel ultra wide camera and 48 megapixel macro telephoto camera has been provided. For its front camera, a 13-megapixel wide angle camera setup is available, in which autofocus is also provided.
5,750mAh battery and 100W fast charging
This phone is not very big but has a decent battery. Huawei Mate 80 Pro has a 5,750mAh battery. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. Talking about connectivity, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C port. This smartphone comes with single and dual SIM options. Its weight is approximately 219 grams and thickness is said to be 7.9mm.
Apart from all these things, Huawei has also recently introduced Huawei Nova 15 series. This series includes Huawei Nova 15, Huawei Nova 15 Pro and Huawei Nova 15 Ultra. These smartphones run on HarmonyOS 6.0 and have a battery of up to 6,500mAh. It is possible that the company may present this phone with better or similar features than this series. Talking about the price, its price has not been disclosed yet. But it is expected that it will be introduced in mid range or premium category.
