The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rainfall for four districts of Telangana for Wednesday (June 10, 2026). The IMD said the southwest monsoon entered Telangana on Monday (June 8, 2026) and conditions are favorable for further advance of the monsoon into some more parts of the state during the next four to five days.
According to its latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. Additionally, thunderstorm with lightning and strong winds is likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts of the state. .

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas will remain generally cloudy for the next 24 hours. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with isolated heavy falls and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places during evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 36℃ and 25℃ respectively,” the bulletin said.
