Harley-Davidson X440 price hike – variant wise
The entry-level X440 Vivid is now priced at Rs 2.36 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 1,000 more than its previous price of Rs 2.35 lakh. The mid-spec X440 S has become costlier by Rs 4,000 and is now priced at Rs 2.59 lakh, which was earlier Rs 2.55 lakh. Meanwhile, the top-spec X440 T gets the biggest hike of Rs 5,000. The price of the T variant, introduced in December 2025, has now increased from Rs 2.79 lakh to Rs 2.84 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The price revision does not bring any updates to the motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that develops 27 hp and 38 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The X440 T remains the most feature-loaded version of the range, equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, riding modes, switchable ABS and Harley-Davidson’s Panic Braking Alert feature. It also gets a revised rear subframe, redesigned tail section and updated grab handles.

Strong sales momentum continues
The latest price hike comes at a time when Harley-Davidson’s entry-level motorcycles are seeing strong growth in the Indian market. In April 2026, the X440 recorded sales of 1,505 units, up from 657 units sold in April 2025, marking a healthy growth of 129% year-on-year.

Harley-Davidson is also preparing to expand its India-made portfolio with the upcoming Sprint 440 cruiser. The new motorcycle, announced earlier this year as part of Harley-Davidson’s global “Back to Bricks” strategy, will be based on the same 440cc platform that underpins the X440.
