The Kylak is Skoda’s best-selling car in India and also features in the top 10 best-selling sub-4-metre SUVs.
Skoda has achieved some major achievements in the last 12 months. In July 2025, the company announced cumulative production to reach 5 lakh units. Recently, the Kylaq became the fastest Skoda car to reach the 50,000 sales milestone. To celebrate this moment and the first anniversary of the Kylak, Skoda has announced special benefits and offers on the SUV. Let’s see the details.
Skoda Kailak special offers announced
To match the 50k sales milestone of the Kylaq, Skoda is offering benefits of up to Rs 50,000. Additionally, buyers can also avail Skoda’s one-year maintenance package at 50% discount. The Kylaq is Skoda’s most affordable offering in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.59 lakh. These benefits translate into a better overall deal for buyers. The Kylaq is positioned in the highly competitive sub-4-metre SUV segment. It competes with Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3XO and Toyota Tasar. The segment will see several new entrants in the future, including the Volkswagen Terra and the second generation Hyundai Bayon. Renault is also planning to offer a sub-4-metre for the Indian market.
In December 2025, the Skoda Kylaq was ranked 10th in the list of best-selling sub-4-metre SUVs. Sales stood at 3,668 units, meaning a market share of over 3%. With Terra expected to enter this space, the pair could collectively gain higher market share. The sub-4-metre SUV segment is the largest contributor to total SUV sales in India. With low GST rates, sales are increasing and future growth prospects look promising.
