Glamor emerged as one of the biggest gainers, with sales growing 135.62% year-on-year to 25,522 units. Passion also performed well, growing 42.86% year-on-year to 24,712 units, reinforcing Hero’s strength in the commuter-plus segment. Among scooters, the Destiny 125 registered a strong growth of 53.96% YoY with 24,177 units, while the Pleasure fell by 9.09% at 9,146 units. Zoom 125 also recorded a decline of 10.40% with sales of 5,531 units.

The Xtreme 125R, which had a strong start earlier, declined 13.56% year-on-year to 20,200 units. This suggests some normalization after initial demand. In comparison, Vida electric scooters recorded a strong growth of 119.73% YoY, reaching 17,110 units, highlighting the rise in EV adoption.

Expansion of premium and lifestyle segments

Sales of the XPulse have continued to grow, with sales almost tripling by 194.86% year-on-year to 3,845 units. This reflects the growing interest in adventure motorcycles in India. Xtreme 160R sales declined 25.72% year-on-year to 1,739 units, while sales of the newly introduced Xoom 160 were recorded at 842 units. The Xtreme 250R also entered the lineup with 115 units, marking Hero’s gradual push into higher displacement segments. The Karizma 210 recorded minimum sales of only 5 units, indicating very limited sales at present. The Maverick 440 reported zero sales this month.

MoM Performance – Broad-Based Development

On a month-on-month basis, Hero MotoCorp reported a growth of 6.87% at 5,14,879 units in February 2026. Splendor led the way with a growth of over 10,000 units, while HF Deluxe saw a strong growth of 18.64% MoM.

Glamour, Passion and Xtreme 125R also recorded good growth, while Vida EV grew by 19.48% MoM. Scooters like Pleasure and Zoom 125 also saw notable gains. However, the Destiny 125 declined by 11.66% MoM, while the Xtreme 160R and Xtreme 250R also saw a decline. Karizma 210 continued to post negligible volumes.

Hero MotoCorp’s sales are largely dependent on its commuter motorcycles, especially the Splendor. However, growth is increasingly being supported by mid-segment bikes, scooters and EVs. With increasing presence in EV (Vida) and premium motorcycles like XPulse and Xtreme range, Hero is gradually diversifying its portfolio. Continued momentum in these segments will be important as the company looks to reduce reliance on entry-level passengers in the future.
