After taking a look at the top 10 scooters, let’s now take a look at the top 10 motorcycles. The motorcycle segment continued to grow steadily in March 2026, with total sales of the top 10 models reaching 9,36,933 units as compared to 8,51,028 units sold in March 2025, registering a 10.09% YoY growth.

With sales of 3,32,227 units in March 2026, Hero Splendor maintained its position as India’s best-selling motorcycle. However, growth remained modest at 3.01% year-on-year, indicating stable demand in the commuter segment. Honda Shine continued its strong performance in the 125cc category to take the second position with 1,73,098 units, registering a healthy growth of 14.53%.

Bajaj Pulsar recorded strong profits, with sales rising to 1,32,248 units, a growth of 24.29% YoY. The Pulsar range is benefiting from frequent updates and strong brand appeal. TVS Raider also registered a strong growth of 20.51% with sales of 37,345 units, reflecting its growing popularity in the sporty commuter segment.

Mixed performance in commuter segment

Hero HF Deluxe witnessed a decline, with sales falling 7.33% year-on-year to 85,088 units, making it the only major commuter motorcycle in the list to register negative growth. In contrast, Honda CB Unicorn witnessed a growth of 17.01% with 34,358 units, while Bajaj Platina registered a growth of 7.19% with 32,822 units.

Apache, Classic 350 maintain steady growth

The TVS Apache range registered a growth of 6.48% YoY at 47,081 units, while the Royal Enfield Classic 350 continued its steady performance with a growth of 12.17% YoY at 37,144 units. Both models remain strong players in their respective segments, catering to performance-oriented and lifestyle buyers.

Hero Glamor emerged as the fastest growing motorcycle in the top 10 list, with sales growing 135.62% year-on-year to 25,522 units. This sharp growth comes on a relatively low base but indicates new demand in the 125cc segment.
