However, Royal Enfield has not had the same success with its 450cc range of motorcycles. The volume is not adequate at all and it lags far behind their 650cc portfolio as well.
To change this, Royal Enfield is giving its most affordable 450cc offering, the Guerrilla 450, a meaningful update. With this update, the 2026 Guerrilla 450 could come across as a better proposition than before and increase its appeal, which could bring in more sales for the brand.
As far as the updates are concerned, Royal Enfield has not revealed what they are and how they will affect the overall experience. That said, one can speculate that Royal Enfield may update the rear suspension of the Guerrilla 450 as many users have reported a harsh ride from this motorcycle, especially while dealing with broken roads.
We saw something similar with the 2025 Hunter 350, where Royal Enfield updated its rear suspension among other things. With the 2026 Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield may also consider offering USD front forks, which has been one of the points of criticism about the Guerrilla 450. This motorcycle is already known to offer great handling and the USD forks can add to the overall visual appeal.

As far as powertrain is concerned, Royal Enfield will retain the Sherpa 450 engine on the Guerrilla 450. This 452cc single cylinder engine gets DOHC 4V/cylinder head with liquid cooling setup. Peak power is around 40 bhp and peak torque is around 40 Nm, mated to a slipper clutch, an electronic throttle and a 6-speed gearbox.
