The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition is essentially an all-black version, with classic gold leaf stripes for a more attractive appearance.
Royal Enfield had showcased the Shotgun 650 custom build by Taiwan-based Rough Crafts at the 2025 EICMA. It was inspired by the Caliber Royal custom bike. The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition was also later showcased at Motoverse 2025. Royal Enfield had said that the custom bike will be introduced as a limited edition model, with only 100 units available globally. Registrations for the Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition are now open, with only 25 units available for enthusiasts in India.
Shotgun 650 Rough Craft Edition – Special Features
With only 100 units produced globally and only 25 units in India, the Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition is essentially positioned as a collector’s edition. This special edition has a number of exclusive features, which serve to enhance the classic character of the bike. One of the standout features is the gold-leaf striping, which can be seen on the front fender, fuel tank, side panels and rear fender.
The combination of black and gold stripes creates an exciting contrast. The gold leaf stripe is paired with subtle gray strokes for added dynamism. This factory custom bike gets a cast brass Rough Crafts collaboration badge on the fuel tank. On the fuel tank, each of the 100 special edition bikes gets a unique number from 1 to 100.
The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition uses a special color theme of Gloss Jet Black and Matte Stealth Black. Other key highlights include black bar end mirrors, premium quilted leather seat, contrast cut alloy wheels and inner fork tube in golden finish. Most other features and equipment are largely identical to the standard Shotgun 650. Owners will also receive a special bespoke poster featuring this special edition bike. This poster will be hand signed by Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh.
How to Register for Shotgun 650 Rough Craft Edition?
The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition will be available for booking only for enthusiasts who pre-register for the ‘drop’ sale. This custom build model will not be available through the standard retail process. Globally, there are only 100 units for sale. India gets 25 units, and the same number of units are on sale in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific.
The registration process is currently open globally. This can be done on Royal Enfield’s official app or their website. Buyers in India have time till July 30 to file their registration. The drop sale in India is scheduled to start on July 30, 2026 at 7 am. Only users who complete the registration process will be allowed to participate in the sale.
If selected, users will be notified via a confirmation email. In the next step, users need to visit the selected dealership within 48 hours to pay the booking amount. In other global markets, the drop sale will be held in a staggered manner from July 27 to July 30. The Shotgun 650 Rough Crafts Edition is priced at Rs 5.75 lakh. In comparison, the standard model is available in the price range of Rs 4.01 lakh to Rs 4.16 lakh.
