Maruti Suzuki has officially released the teaser of the new Brezza for the first time. Launching on 24th July 2026. Along with the teaser, the company has also announced that bookings are now open, signaling the arrival of the first major update for the second-generation Brezza since its launch in 2022. Customers can book at authorized dealerships or by making payment online Booking amount Rs 11,000.
The message in the teaser is, “This is the biggest game of the season. And it’s going to blow you away. New Brezza, booking started” While it doesn’t reveal much about the SUV, it does show the silhouette of the facelifted Brezza and gives a glimpse of its profile in the teaser video.

What to expect from the new Brezza?
The facelift is expected to introduce several significant upgrades under the hood and inside the cabin. One of the biggest expected changes is the inclusion of Maruti Suzuki’s 1.0-litre BoosterJet turbo-petrol engine, which has already been seen in the Frontex. In that application, the engine produces 100 PS and 147.6 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The existing 1.5-litre K15C smart hybrid petrol engine is also expected to continue in the lineup. The CNG variant may get a significant practicality upgrade with an underbody-mounted CNG cylinder, which will replace the existing boot-mounted tank and free up luggage space.
More features, mild design changes
The spy shots reveal mild cosmetic modifications that include updated front and rear bumpers, refreshed lighting elements and a new alloy wheel design. The cabin is expected to get revised upholstery, new trim finishes and additional features.
Expected equipment includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting and other feature upgrades. While there was speculation about a facelift for ADAS, our sources indicate that the new Brezza will not get an ADAS suite.
Less tax on turbo engine?
One interesting aspect of the facelift could be the pricing of the turbo variant. Since the 1.0-litre turbo engine qualifies for the lower GST slab applicable to sub-4 meter petrol vehicles with engines up to 1.2 litres, Maruti can potentially price these variants competitively.
More details including variant-wise features and prices will be announced when the new Maruti Brezza is launched on July 24, 2026. The updated SUV will continue to compete with the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3XO, Skoda Kailash, Toyota Tasar and other sub 4 meter SUVs in the segment.
