Earlier this month, TVS Motors’ cumulative electric vehicle sales crossed the 10 lakh (1 million) units mark across all electric two-wheelers. However, the overwhelming majority of those sales have come from the iQube, which remains the company’s flagship EV. Production milestones for the scooter have also increased rapidly. The iQube is designed, engineered and manufactured in India, produced at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur manufacturing facility. Commenting on the milestone, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman, TVS Motor Company, said the rollout of one million iCubes reflects the growing acceptance of electric mobility in everyday transportation. He said this achievement is backed by years of investment in engineering, product development and manufacturing capabilities.
