Tata Motors is working on expanding its lineup to include new models and nameplates. We saw the revival of the iconic Sierra nameplate and soon, we will see the birth of the Avinya brand. It will have a complete lineup of its own and will be positioned as the luxury vehicle division of Tata Motors with its own logo and design language.
The Avina Fastback is expected to be the first in the group with futuristic design and aesthetics. The interior décor will be unique and add an air of sophistication. Some internal sketches of the mockup have also been revealed. The design patent of the dashboard of Tata Avinya Electric SUV has now been leaked.

Tata Avinya Dashboard Design Patent
Upon launch, the Avinya fastback EV is expected to be the first to hit the production line, followed by an SUV, which is a production-spec version of the Avinya SUV concept showcased at the 2025 India Mobility Expo. It features a Range Rover-inspired silhouette as well as an attractive sloping roofline in this SUV, which is the all-important luxury car aesthetic Tata Motors is going for.
Leaked dashboard design patents of the upcoming Tata Avinya EVs show the company’s unique design direction with respect to the Avinya brand. There is a new Tata logo for the Avinya series and we can see this logo on the dashboard spanning almost the entire width of this SUV. The two lines form a T in the middle.

There is a curvature at the top of this dashboard and it reminds us of the Jaguar XJ. The steering wheel is unique to the Avinya range and we can see minimal airiness with it, consisting entirely of touch-based steering controls. The new Tiago EV is the first vehicle from Tata not to have the Tata logo, but the Avinya is also missing the Tata branding on the steering, which has been replaced by the letters AVINYA.
These are two mirrored steering stalks, completely flat, and one of them is the gear selector. Behind this steering wheel is a wide instrument cluster. It is a smooth unit and not very long. The dashboard is minimal and feels like it could be completely soft touch. A central infotainment screen takes center stage and climate control and other important functions are embedded in this screen.

When will it launch?
Tata Motors is expected to launch the Avinya brand sometime this year (2026). According to rumours, leaks and speculations, Tata will first launch the Avinya Fastback and then the Avinya SUV. Both of these are expected to be deployed on Jaguar’s EMA platform as part of a major technology transfer within the Tata Group.
The Avinya lineup will be positioned as Tata’s future luxury flagship models, over the existing ICE and EV models on sale in India. For the Avinya lineup, Tata is highly localizing the EMA platform which should reduce costs. Avinya’s production target appears to be around 24,000 units per year.
