According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), due to strong winds from Rajasthan, a dust storm has occurred in Delhi-NCR. In the latest pictures from Chhatarpur area of Delhi, it can be clearly seen that the sky is full of dust.
At around 3 pm, there is a cloud of dust on the roads due to dust storm and strong winds. Trees are shaking in the strong wind. Visibility is very low due to dust storm.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be a slight drop in the temperature on June 23. The sky will be partly cloudy and the maximum temperature may remain around 40 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature can be recorded around 27 degrees.
Monsoon rains may be delayed in the states of North India including Delhi, but the changing weather has provided relief from the heat. The weather in the national capital Delhi is changeable with sometimes sunny and sometimes cloudy skies.
According to IMD, monsoon usually reaches Delhi around June 27, but this time it may be delayed a little more. At present, light pre-monsoon rain or sporadic showers with thunder and lightning are providing relief from the heat in Delhi-NCR. Monsoon may reach Delhi-NCR in the first week of July.
