Kia India has announced a price increase of up to 2% across its vehicle lineup, effective from July 1, 2026. The company said the revision has become necessary due to rising input costs and overall increase in operating expenses. The exact amount of the increase will vary depending on the model and variant. Kia has not yet revealed the revised price lists for individual products.
Latest price revision from Kia
Like many other automakers operating in India, Kia faces high commodity and logistics costs. The company said it has absorbed a significant portion of the cost increase internally in an effort to minimize the impact on customers, but partial price increases are now unavoidable.
This amendment will be applicable to Kia’s existing portfolio, which includes models like Sonet, Ciros, Seltos, Carens Clavis, Carnival and EV6. The latest price hike move follows a broader trend in the automotive industry, with several manufacturers announcing price revisions in recent months to offset rising costs of raw materials, components and logistics.
Customers planning to buy a Kia vehicle can avail the current prices till the end of June 2026. The revised pricing structure will be effective from July 1, 2026 and will vary across the company’s model range.

What next?
Kia India is working on several products in the pipeline to increase its market share in the country. Some of them are expected to launch in the coming months, while some are expected to launch in 2027. The company is working on its second electric offering and its first electric SUV in the lineup in the form of the Cyros EV.
The Ciros EV is expected to launch around August 2026. Along with the sub 4 meter SUV, the next generation Kia Sonet has been spied testing and the test mule has started being spotted recently. Therefore, the launch may not be in the immediate vicinity. It may come with large touchscreen inside, front and rear ventilated seats and other features.
Kia India is also keen to bring the Sorento Hybrid and is expected to manufacture it locally, instead of taking the CKD route. The Sorento will be Kia’s first hybrid offering for the Indian market and will be the brand’s flagship ICE SUV. This three-row Kia SUV will take on immediate rivals like Jeep Meridian, VW Tayron R Line, Skoda Kodiaq and others.

Price-wise, some variants of the Kia Sorento Hybrid may compete with traditional ladder-frame SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner and MG Magister. Testing of the Sorento Hybrid has begun and is expected to launch sometime in 2027.
