The sedan segment remains desire-centric
The latest sales data highlights the continued dominance of Maruti Dezire in the sedan segment. With more than two-thirds of all sedan sales coming from a single model, the segment remains largely centered around compact sedans. While premium sedans like Virtus, Slavia, Verna and City continue to attract enthusiasts, their combined volumes are significantly less than the monthly sales of the Dzire.
