After the free trade deal with India, European Union (EU) foreign affairs representative Kaja Kallas said some things about the neighboring country Pakistan, which may displease India. Kallas met with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir and also read odes praising both of them.

He posted on social media platform X about his conversation with Pakistani leaders and EU-Pakistan partnership.
Called Pakistan a big ‘regional power’
The foreign policy chief of the European Union described Pakistan as a major ‘regional power’ and an important partner of the EU. He said that ‘mutual relations between the European Union (EU) and Pakistan are very strong and they are very important for each other.’ He further said, ‘EU is Pakistan’s largest exporting market, hence EU gives GSP+ status to Pakistan.’ Under GSP+, Pakistan can sell its goods to European countries without any tax.
Pakistan is a major regional power and an important partner of the European Union.
