Triumph Motorcycles India and its strategic partner, Bajaj Auto launched the updated 350cc versions of the 400 lineup in India. The switch happened last month to April 2026 and Triumph went all out with the revised 350cc lineup and discontinued the 400cc lineup, contrary to what the Bajaj and KTM duo is doing.
In just a month or two, Bajaj and Triumph are set to announce price hikes for 350cc Triumph 400 models including the Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400X, Scrambler 400XC, Thruxton 400 and probably the Tracker 400. Let’s take a closer look.
Price increase of 350cc Triumph motorcycle
Prices of smaller versions of Triumph’s popular 400 lineup are set to increase from June 2026. A Triumph dealership named Shaman Triumph in Mumbai announced on social media that the entire 350cc Triumph motorcycle range will get a price hike of Rs 5,000 from the month of June 2026.
Triumph Motorcycles India or Bajaj Auto have not yet officially announced this price hike. If this is true, it would lead to a price hike of around Rs 5,000 on the recently launched 350cc Triumph Portfolio, which is not confirmed to be standard across the entire model lineup. Therefore, prices may increase depending on the premium positioning of the models.
Towards that end, the Speed T4 may see the least price hike, while the Thruxton 400 and Scrambler 400XC may see the highest price hike from June 1, 2026. It is interesting to see the price hike of Bajaj and Triumph within such a short period since launch.

When the Triumph 400 lineup was downsized to accommodate the smaller 350cc engine, the Speed T4 retained its price tag of Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-sh), while the more premium offerings like the Scrambler and Thruxton saw a price hike of up to Rs 11,000. With this switch, the Triumph 400 lineup fell into a lower GST tax slab, but the price did not drop as expected.
This is because Bajaj and Triumph absorbed the higher taxes and did not transfer it to the buyer for several months until the size came down. Now, prices are expected to rise in no time, getting closer to the 400cc models of the pre-downsize era. Therefore, buyers will soon start paying prices ranging from 400cc engine models to 350cc engine models.
The range starts with the Speed T4, priced at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-sh), followed by the Speed 400 priced at Rs 2.32 lakh (ex-sh), Tracker 400 priced at Rs 2.46 lakh (ex-sh), Scrambler 400X priced at Rs 2.59 lakh (ex-sh), Thruxton 400 priced at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-sh) and The Scrambler is 400XC. Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-sh).
