Mahindra Auto is working on a facelift for its very popular Scorpio N SUV. The big daddy of SUVs is going to get a new face which is expected to have more aggression and attitude. Multitude test mules have already been seen testing in the country and the launch timeline is estimated to be sometime in 2026.
The latest test mule was spotted by automotive enthusiast Rishita Chaudhary, who spotted it on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. These spy shots show the upcoming Scorpio N facelift from the rear and sides and the test mule sees a new design for its alloy wheels. let’s take a closer look.

Scorpio N facelift testing continues
The recently spotted Mahindra Scorpio N facelift test mule has been completely wrapped in camouflage to hide the design modifications from the public eye. It’s not like there will be extensive design revisions, at least on the sides and back. From what we can see in these spy shots, one can say that the Scorpio N facelift might just be a bit of a tweak.
From the rear, we can see that the Scorpio N facelift retains the same tail light housing, while on the inside, the LEDs can be seen with a new design. The tailgate still hinges on the side, which makes sense on a tall SUV like this, and the spare wheel is still under the floor. The rear bumper may also get a slightly redesigned design. The same shark fin antenna and rear wiper have been moved forward.

What could be new are its alloy wheels. For starters, this time they may be 19-inchers and it looks like these wheels are slightly concave in their design. The pattern is still 5-spoke and may look slightly different from the current model. The stinging scorpion tail detail on the side profile has also been retained.
what to expect?
Although there are not many design changes at the rear and sides, the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to get a completely new fascia. Previous test mules support this theory as they had temporary floating headlights. This means, the headlights and headlight housing can be modified.

The primary updates are likely to be on the inside where we can expect a larger infotainment screen (probably 12.3 inches), a fully digital TFT instrument cluster, a new-age steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, a more powerful Harman Kardon audio system, 360-degree cameras, front and rear ventilated seats, a powered tailgate and other features.
Level-2 ADAS is likely to be introduced going forward and the same may be the case with its powertrain. Currently, the Scorpio N is powered by a 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine with both manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes with 4X4 options. The diesel engine may get full fat performance metrics as the XUV7XO produces up to 182 bhp and 450 Nm.
