Maruti Suzuki is currently the leading mass market van manufacturer in India. The reason for this is the lack of competition for the rival Maruti Suzuki Eeco in the country. Currently, Eeco sells around 10k+ units per month and in March 2026, Maruti sold 11,333 units of Eeco.
To further boost sales and bring some enthusiasm towards this product, Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the Eeco Star edition, which is aimed at private buyers. With the Eeco Star, Maruti Suzuki is giving this commercial/private vehicle a slightly more premium look and feel than the standard avatar. let’s take a closer look.

Maruti Eeco Star Edition
As far as pricing is concerned, the Eco Star variant has been priced at Rs 19,999 over the actual cost of the vehicle. It is to be noted that Maruti had earlier also introduced the Star variant, which was priced at Rs 37,000 and now it has been reduced to Rs 19,999, which will make it more attractive for buyers.
It seems to be available in two colors – Metallic Brisk Blue and Metallic Glistening Grey. Only the Star variant has body colored bumpers on both ends, making it look significantly more premium than the non-Star variant.

Maruti Suzuki advertises 18 accessories bundled under the Eeco Star variant. The most notable among these 18 accessories include rear spoiler for a sporty look, fog lamps with fog lamp garnish, interior styling kit, seat covers, stylish wheel covers, chrome emblems, door visors and then mud flap set.
There is a good chance that the Star Edition accessories bundle will be fitted at the dealer level and not at the factory. Even the body color bumpers can be done at the dealer level. The company did not reveal whether the Star Edition accessories bundle can be purchased with any variant (5 seater standard, 5 seater AC, 6 seater standard) or not.

Additionally, whether current owners can get the Star Edition bundle for Rs 19,999 and get all these accessories is unknown at the moment. Maruti Suzuki Eeco is priced between Rs 5.21 lakh and Rs 6.36 lakh (ex-sh) and is offered with both petrol and CNG powertrain options. Both get the same 1.2L NA petrol engine making 81 bhp and 105.5 Nm, mated to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox.
What else do you get from this?
Apart from the advertised accessories, Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes with manually sliding doors for easy entry and exit. The Eeco promises a fuel efficiency of up to 19.71 km/kg with petrol when running on CNG fuel and 26.78 km/kg with the petrol + CNG bi-fuel option. It is underpinned by a ladder frame chassis and gets a RWD drivetrain.
