Hyundai’s next-generation Creta has been spied once again, and this latest set of images provides the clearest look yet at both its exterior hardware and interior upgrades. The third-generation Creta is still heavily camouflaged, but these fresh spy shots reveal several key changes that underline just how much Hyundai plans to push its best-selling midsize SUV.
Big wheels, strong road presence
One of the standout details in the latest 2027 Hyundai Creta spy shots is the new set of 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels wrapped in 235/45 section tyres. This is a notable step up from the existing model and shows that Hyundai is aiming for a more premium, upmarket stance. The larger wheels also hint at a slightly wider track and a more streamlined road presence, reinforcing earlier sightings that pointed towards a more upright and square silhouette.

Despite the camouflage, the proportions suggest that the 2027 Hyundai Creta will be slightly longer and heavier in appearance than the current generation, helping it better differentiate itself from compact SUVs while holding its own against new rivals in the segment.
Boss Mode confirmed for back seat
Inside the cabin, the biggest talking point is the electrically adjustable front passenger seat, with controls accessible to those sitting at the rear. This confirms the presence of a Boss Mode-style feature, which allows rear seat passengers to slide the front seat forward or tilt it backward to free up more legroom. This is a feature usually seen in higher segments and underlines Hyundai’s intention to promote rear seat comfort as a major selling point.

The seats themselves appear to be equipped with black leather upholstery, possibly reserved for higher variants. The overall cabin layout looks more premium with cleaner surfaces and a more horizontal design theme, in line with Hyundai’s new global models.

More comfort and practicality at the rear
The spy shots of the 2027 Hyundai Creta also reveal a more comfortable second row. All three rear passengers get adjustable headrests, which is a welcome upgrade for safety and comfort. The rear AC vents have been retained, and the overall feeling of space has been improved, suggesting a longer wheelbase or smart packaging. Other details visible include neatly integrated seat controls, improved door trim and a generally more mature interior design compared to the current model.

what else to expect
Although the dashboard is hidden, earlier reports and Hyundai’s recent launch suggest that the new Creta may have the following features:
– Larger infotainment and digital driver display
– An advanced ADAS suite
– Improvements in connected car technology
– High-end content across touchpoints

Under the hood, the next-generation Creta is initially expected to retain the familiar 1.5-litre petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel engines, which will be paired with manual and automatic gearboxes. However, a strong hybrid option is widely expected later in the lifecycle, in line with Hyundai’s broader hybrid strategy for India.
Launch Timeline
Hyundai had previously hinted at a 2027 launch window, but with testing ramping up and the interiors now revealed, the debut could be pushed to late 2026, possibly around the festive season. Given the importance of the Creta for Hyundai in India, the next generation is shaping up to be a big leap forward rather than a regular update.
