Expected updates with the 2026 Guerrilla 450 include softer rear suspension, USD forks, cruise control and traction control
Royal Enfield will launch the 2026 Guerrilla 450 on March 27, as revealed by the latest teaser. Several functional updates may be introduced based on market feedback, aimed at improving the overall experience for enthusiasts. The update may also include new colours, refreshed dual-tone liveries and matte finish. Let’s see the details.
2026 Guerrilla 450 – What could be new?
It is possible that the 2026 Guerrilla 450 may get a revised rear monoshock suspension. With the current setup, the ride can feel a bit harsh, especially on uneven surfaces. Another major update could be road-biased, grippier radial tires. This will give more confidence while handling different corners on the road. The current model is fitted with heavy-duty dual-purpose tyres.

At the front, the 2026 Guerrilla 450 may get USD forks. To ensure that the entry-level price remains accessible, it may be offered with top variants. There are many other speculations about the 2026 Guerrilla 450. There is a possibility that the updated model may get bar-end mirrors and cruise control. The bike already has a ride-by-wire throttle, so adding cruise control shouldn’t be much of a challenge.
Enthusiasts are also expecting a bi-directional quickshifter, which may be offered as an optional accessory. It can also be a part of standard equipment with the top variant. This update can make gear shifting much easier in urban environments. The 2026 Guerrilla 450 may also get traction control for better safety and stability in varying road conditions.

new color options
While the Guerrilla 450 has a wide range of color options, there is room for improvement. Additionally, some color options have been removed recently and these gaps need to be filled. Some sportier graphics can also enhance the overall visual appeal of the bike.
The Guerrilla 450 features circular headlamps and rear-view mirrors, fork gaiters, a wide handlebar, a stubby exhaust and a single-piece seat. Apart from suspension changes, new tires and the possibility of fresh colours, most other features will remain the same. Powering the bike is a 452 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine that generates 40 PS and 40 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 uses a steel twin spar frame, which houses the engine as a stressed member. The suspension setup consists of a 43 mm telescopic fork at the front with 140 mm of front wheel travel and a linkage type monoshock unit at the rear with 150 mm of rear wheel travel. The ground clearance of the bike is 169 mm and seat height is 780 mm. Curb weight is 184 kg. The braking setup includes 310 mm front and 270 mm rear ventilated disc brakes, integrated with dual-channel ABS.
The tech kit includes a circular 4-inch TFT display with support for phone connectivity. Users can access turn-by-turn navigation powered by Google Maps. The lower variants are equipped with a digi-analog instrument cluster with tripper pod. With the update, the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla may be offered at a slightly higher price. The current model is available at a starting price of Rs 2.56 lakh.
