Royal Enfield has updated the Classic 350 with two new convenience features while retaining the familiar 349cc J-series engine and classic styling.
Royal Enfield has updated the Classic 350 for 2026 with two rider-centric enhancements aimed at improving everyday usability. The motorcycle now gets an assist and slipper clutch along with a USB Type-C fast charging port. These updates are available on all dual-channel ABS variants of the Classic 350 from today.
The 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is offered in nine color variants, with prices starting at Rs 1,87,434 (ex-showroom, Chennai) for the Redditch Red variant. Halcyon Black is priced at Rs 1,90,195, followed by Madras Red and Jodhpur Blue at Rs 1,93,668.
The Medallion Bronze variant is priced at Rs 1,98,040, while the Commando Sand is priced at Rs 2,09,684. At the top, the Stealth Black and Gun Gray are priced at Rs 2,18,423, with the range-topping Emerald variant available at Rs 2,23,275 (all prices ex-showroom, Chennai).
What’s new?
The biggest mechanical update is the addition of an assist and slipper clutch. This system reduces the clutch lever effort, making the motorcycle easier to drive in city traffic and also makes gear shifts easier. It also helps reduce rear wheel hop during aggressive downshifts, improving overall ride confidence.
Another useful addition is the USB Type-C fast charging port, which allows riders to charge smartphones and other compatible devices while on the go. This feature adds convenience for both daily commute and long distance travel.
Engine and hardware unchanged
Apart from these updates, the Classic 350 remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by Royal Enfield’s 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled J-series engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its smooth power delivery, strong low-end torque and refined performance, features that have made the Classic 350 one of the best-selling motorcycles of the brand.
Classic styling continues
Royal Enfield has not made any changes in the styling of the motorcycle. The Classic 350 continues with its signature retro design including the teardrop fuel tank, round headlamps, chrome detailing and the timeless silhouette that has defined the model over the years.
With assist and slipper clutch and USB-C charging, Royal Enfield has focused on improving everyday usability without altering the basic character of the motorcycle. The updated 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is now available at authorized dealerships in India.
