When an earthquake of 9.1 magnitude occurred in the northern part of Indonesia (2004 Earthquake), India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Thailand trembled. After the earthquake, waves 65 feet high arose in the sea. People had reached the beaches for holidays, the tsunami took everyone away. More than 12 thousand people were killed in India alone.
