We are talking about the Atlantis of the East. Yes, many people once lived in Shicheng, China. But about 64 years ago this city got submerged inside the lake. Now after so many years, this city has once again come to the surface. The condition in which this city has come out has surprised everyone. It seems as if it never went anywhere. Every single thing in the city remained under water for so many years.

The water in which Shicheng was immersed was fresh water. Because of this, all the architecture of the city remained safe. After years, when the water of the lake dried up, the city disappeared. This city was opened to public in 2017. Today many people come here to relive this city. Many of the stoneworks in this city date back to 1777. But due to lack of sun and wind they are still safe.
