A similar incident happened in Cambodia a few years ago. A revered Buddhist monk was buried after his death. But after 2 months, when his body was taken out for religious activities, he was seen smiling completely. Seeing this, his followers and other people present there were surprised.
According to Mirror’s report, the incident took place on 16 November 2017. Cambodia’s revered Buddhist monk ‘Lwang Phor Pian’ died in Bangkok at the age of 92. He spent most of his life serving as a renowned spiritual and Buddhist master in Lopburi in central Thailand. Therefore, when he died, his body was returned to the temple where he had served. The mortal remains were brought to the temple for burial.

The body was almost decomposed, but there was a surprising ‘smile’ on his face. He was seen smiling even when his mortal remains were being carried through the crowd by his followers. Onlookers took pictures of this incredible moment and shared it on social media.

Now after five years this picture is going viral. The report then said that when the saint’s body was cleaned for dressing, his body looked like that of a person who had been dead for not more than 36 hours. This state of the monk was called the real ‘attainment of Nirvana’. After that his followers prayed for 100 days.
