Mahesh Shankhnadi told that he has four main conch shells, which are very ancient. The first conch he has is from Jagannath Puri, the second is from Kedarnath, the third is from Dwarkadhish, its color is also light dark. The fourth conch shell he has is from Rameshwaram. All four are from 1990 and their voices are still very loud. He says that even in conch there are male and female, the conch that blows very loudly is male. Mahesh Shankhnadi was present there when the disputed structure collapsed in Ayodhya on 6 December 1992. His entire family has been kar sevaks. During the Ram Mandir movement, Mahesh Shankhnadi used to boost the enthusiasm of the kar sevaks by blowing both the conch shells, from here he got the identity of Shankhnadi. He also went to jail during the Ram Mandir movement, but even after facing all the struggles, he did not stop blowing the conch and till today he blows two conch shells.
