Naresh Pareek/Churu.The family of Churu’s wood artist Malchand Jagid, who has created a distinct identity for himself on the basis of his art at the national and international level, does not need any identity today. This art has now become ingrained in the DNA of the Jagid family and as a result, the fourth generation of the Jagid family is now working to save, nurture and carry forward this inherited art.
Shubham, studying in class 9th of the fourth generation of the Jagid family, has made such a small chess and its pieces with his skillful hands that in this game of art, Shubham defeated his grandfather and great grandfather. At the age of just 15, Shubham has made such a small chess that today he has got his name registered in the Guinness World Book, declaring this chess as the world’s smallest chess. Shubham’s father Pawan Jagid tells that Shubham, thinking of doing something unique and different, has made a 7MM chess set and 32 pieces after a lot of hard work.

Shubham’s father Pawan Jagid tells that making the world’s smallest chess was not easy for Shubham, before this he first made a chess of two inches, then one and a half inches, then half an inch and in the fourth attempt, a fourth part of an inch i.e. 7MM. Chess and 32 Gotiya i.e. in size this chess is smaller than the nail of the thumb. Shubham tells that it took him a month to make the smallest chess.
