On August 13, the National Lok Adalat was held in Kanpur court
On August 13, the Kanpur court will host a National Lok Adalat in accordance with the UP State Legal Service Authority’s instructions.
District Judge Mayank Kumar Jain of Kanpur Nagar presided over a meeting to discuss how to handle the most cases during the upcoming National Lok Adalat.
In attendance at the meeting were the district magistrate, police commissioner, chief medical officer, nodal officer for the National Lok Adalat, and secretary for the District Legal Service Authority.
According to the officials present at the meeting, the Lok Adalat should resolve the majority of revenue cases; however, it must be ensured that all notices are delivered via the police in every instance.
The officers in attendance pledged to resolve the majority of cases in the Lok Adalat.
In order to ensure that the greatest number of people could benefit from the Lok Adalat, Pratham Kant, additional district and sessions judge and nodal officer, met with officers of the lead banks.
He requested that they hand out pamphlets and hand bills with information about the National Lok Adalat at common public locations.
