Carl Weathers

Weathers was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1948. He attended college at Long Beach State University, where he played football. After college, he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL), but was cut from the team during training camp. It is safe to say that sunday night football odds were not good for him.

He then decided to pursue a career in acting, and moved to Los Angeles. He began landing small roles in television shows and movies, including a role on the popular sitcom Happy Days. His big break came when he was cast as Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise.

In 1987, Weathers starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the action movie Predator. He has since appeared in many other films and television shows, including The Shield, Arrested Development, and Parks and Recreation. In recent years, he has also directed several episodes of the TV series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Nnamdi Asomugha

Nnamdi Asomugha is a former American football cornerback. He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, and was drafted in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.

When it comes to acting, Asomugha’s breakout role came when he earned an Independent Spirit Award for his role in 2017’s Crown Heights. Asomugha also made his Broadway debut in the Pulitzer Prize-winning stage play A Soldier’s Play in 2020.

The Career Of Fred Williamson

After his decent football career, Fred Williamson became an actor, director, and producer who has had a long and successful career in Hollywood. He is best known for his roles in blaxploitation films such as Black Caesar and Hell Up in Harlem. Williamson has also appeared in mainstream films such as The Inglorious Bastards and From Dusk till Dawn.
