From Sonali Kulkarni to Nagesh Bhosale, Meet The Power Hungry Politicians of Dharavi Bank
Dharavi Bank, the latest offering from MX Player, has taken the OTT world by storm, thanks to its gripping plot, stellar cast, and high-octane action sequences. Dharavi Bank is the story of a restless cop (JCP Jayant Gavaskar, portrayed by Vivek Anand Oberoi) on a thrilling hunt to find an unreachable kingpin (Thalaivan, portrayed by Suniel Shetty) who controls an unimaginable financial empire worth Rs 30,000 Crores – hidden in the labyrinth of Dharavi’s innumerable lanes. In addition, beginning December 9th, all episodes of this intense drama will be available to stream for free on MX Player.
Suniel Shetty made an impressive digital debut with this 10-episode series, which also marked the return of Vivek Anand Oberoi to SVOD after a hiatus. A talented ensemble cast assists them in bringing this story to life, but the Dharavi politicians portrayed by Sonali Kulkarni, Nagesh Bhosale, and Santosh Juvenkar stand out as particularly treacherous and power-hungry.
As the saying goes, a politician will always be there for you when he needs you, and so it is with these three individuals. Their devious schemes and deceptive personalities make the series a must-see, but it is their authenticity that has truly won the audience’s hearts. These versatile Marathi actors have brought their A-game and have nailed the accents and mannerisms of politicians in Mumbai’s largest city.
