After sterilization, the couple often becomes carefree and lives a happy life. But a shocking case related to sterilization has come from Bihar. Here a woman got sterilization done. And she became careless. But after a few days she became pregnant. This happened not once but 3-3 times. The woman has given birth to two more children and is pregnant with the third. This case has come to light from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Even after sterilization, this woman has become pregnant thrice. Due to this the woman had a total of seven children. Victim Julie Devi told that in the year 2015, she had got family planning done at Gaighat Primary Health Centre. Even after the operation, two children were born and the third one is in the womb.
Doctors kept saying…just keep taking this injection…
The victim’s husband Neeraj Kumar Singh told that in the year 2015, he had got his wife’s family planning operation done at Gaighat Primary Health Centre. But in 2018 my wife became pregnant again. I was stunned to hear about getting pregnant even after sterilization. After this both of us applied to the District Magistrate and Civil Surgeon and demanded an investigation. After examination, the wife was given an injection and told that she would not have a child.
But in the year 2020 once again my wife became pregnant. After this we went to Gaighat Primary Health Center, where the wife was sterilized. The doctors in the hospital said that my wife would have to get this injection every month for the next three years. We did the same for three years, but when we went for the last injection, we came to know that the wife was pregnant again. By doing this we had two more children. The third one is in the wife’s womb. The woman’s husband Neeraj said that what is the use of such family planning by the government when I have three more children.
demanding compensation
In lieu of the negligence of the health department, the victim couple is now demanding compensation from the government, so that they can take proper care of all the children. Let us tell you that the victim couple has so far had 6 children. The victim is again seven months pregnant. The woman has become pregnant three times after the operation. Now this family is worried about the upbringing of these children.
