Bihar: JP Nadda does a massive roadshow in Patna before the BJP convention

JP Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and member of the Rajya Sabha, was greeted enthusiastically by party members upon his arrival in Patna, Bihar, on Saturday, July 30. Notably, the BJP president embarked on a roadshow in Patna during his two-day visit to the NDA-ruled state of Bihar, where he is due to inaugurate and participate in the party’s national working committee’s convention of all its fronts.

JP Nadda began his tour by decorating a statue of BR Ambedkar in the vicinity of the Patna High Court. At the roadshow in Patna, JP Nadda was joined by a number of BJP heavyweights, including former Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and BJP Bihar chairman Sanjay Jaiswal. Workers from the saffron party yelled pro-BJP slogans while hoisting the BJP flag and presented Nadda with flowers.

“When the BJP grows, the NDA benefits,” said Union Minister Nityanand Rai.

Union Minister Nityanand Rai told Republic about the BJP’s convention “BJP is constantly involved in its organization and base expansion. Regarding this, we are putting together this program. This is an expansion program for the organization. It will benefit the NDA as a whole.” When asked about the BJP’s ally JD(U), Rai stated, “When we try to expand our organization (BJP), the entire NDA benefits.”

Union Minister and Bihar Lok Saha MP Giriraj Singh stated that BJP leaders have assembled in Patna, adding that work to strengthen the party will be conducted at the convention which will be opened by party leader JP Nadda on Saturday evening. “We are currently in Patna. Tomorrow, Amit Shah will also arrive. In the national working committee convention of our party, efforts will be made to bolster the organization “Giriraj Singh told the media.

Notably, over 750 BJP leaders from across the nation have convened in Patna for the party’s convention. These politicians have been camping in Bihar for the past two days and have now arrived in Patna after touring various assembly districts in the state.

During his two-day visit to Bihar, Nadda is scheduled to interact with the party’s ministers, office-bearers, state core committee members, and elected representatives. He is also scheduled to inaugurate the Gram Sansad on Saturday at 1:45 p.m., a forum for discussing the central and state government’s schemes and their implementation. Afterwards, he will open the convention of the party’s all-front National Working Committee about 4:30 p.m.
