Health of half a dozen people of the same family deteriorated
According to the information received, the people of the family of Narayan Singh, living in Parasai village of Tejgarh police station of Damoh district, had gone to the field in the evening to pluck gram vegetables. Due to the salty nature of the vegetables, people often chew it raw with salt. They would eat it. Being careless could put their lives at risk. Something similar happened last evening when people who reached home after buying vegetable cooked it and the whole house ate it with gusto. But the night did not pass and one by one people’s health started deteriorating.
Hastily admitted to hospital
After the health deteriorated, one by one the family members, including the small children, started feeling dizzy along with vomiting and diarrhoea, seeing which everyone started getting nervous. A total of 7 people in the victim’s family, including three women, three children and an elderly person, were brought to Damoh district hospital late in the night after their health deteriorated. Where his treatment continues. According to doctors, people have become ill due to the vegetables being infected. At present all the patients are out of danger.
Don’t repeat this mistake
Pesticides are often sprayed on crops to kill insects. Apart from this, dust and garbage gets stuck to the crops sown in the fields adjacent to the main road, due to which many times it gets into the stomach while consuming vegetables. Due to which we become victims of diseases. Therefore, before preparing vegetable, we should wash it in lukewarm water only.
