After launching the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the country, VinFast is focusing on gaining more diversified market share in India’s EV sector. The obvious answer is a 7-seater MPV in the form of the VF MPV7 for the passenger market and later a version for commercial fleet operators called the Limo Green.
With the VinFast VF MPV 7, the launch price is Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-sh). Every VinFast owner will have access to the company’s free charging which has been extended till March 31, 2029. There are 6 exterior colors to choose from (Moonlight Ocean, Solar Ruby, Introspective Brown, Zenith Grey, Infinity Blank, Jet Black) and two interior colors (Black, Brown).

As far as design is concerned, the WinFast VF MPV7 has a minimalist look. It has connected LED DRLs, an illuminated VinFast logo, vertically arranged LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, all four disc brakes, large glass areas, conventional door handles, a roof spoiler, connected LED tail lights and other elements worth mentioning.
In terms of dimensions, the Vinfast VF MPV7 measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, 1,734 mm in height, along with a 2,840 mm long wheelbase and ground clearance of around 180 mm. To reduce visual weight, VinFast has incorporated a lot of black elements in the front and rear bumper. We can also see black side body and wheel arch cladding.
On the inside, the VinFast VF MPV 7 comes with textured hard plastics on the dashboard and door trims for a premium feel. The steering is of a four-spoke design with a flat bottom and includes audio and cruise control buttons. It has just one 10.1-inch central screen that integrates both infotainment and instrumentation. Like the Tesla Model 3.
This screen packs all the functionality of the VinFast VF MPV7 including ORVM controls. The gear selector is on the steering column and the door handles are unique. There are no electricals on the floating-type center console and no wireless charger. Below, there is a spacious storage solution. There is a large storage area under the central armrest.
The second row seats are both sliding and reclining, allowing users to set the space for third row occupants. This is a single-piece bench and not an individual captain chair arrangement. There is a one-touch tumble function for the second row to ease access to the third row. The leatherette upholstery, bezel-less auto-dimming IRVM, theatre-style seating and other elements are also noteworthy.
Powertrain, Charging, Range
Powering the VinFast VF MPV7 is a 60.13 kWh battery pack, which sends power to a single electric PMS motor rated at 204 PS of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque. 0-100 km/h acceleration is claimed to be under 9 seconds. It also has Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes with adjustable regenerative braking and OTA updates.
ARAI certified range of 517 km on a single charge. The WinFast VF MPV7 also supports DC fast charging, which takes just 30 minutes from 10%-70%. Minimum boot space with all three rows folded is 126L and can be expanded to 1,240L.
