
Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt Ltd, a premium electric mobility solutions provider, has introduced BaaS pricing model with its latest X-47 electric ADV motorcycle. This is the first among other major companies to introduce electric motorcycles in the country and could prove to be revolutionary for the brand. Let’s take a closer look at the numbers.
Ultraviolette X-47 BaaS Price
With full battery ownership, the Ultraviolette X-47 electric ADV motorcycle was launched at an attractive starting price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-sh). Now, Ultraviolette has launched its ‘Battery Flex’ BaaS pricing model with its electric ADV motorcycle, the X-47. With this unique ownership model, Ultraviolette is shining a light on accessibility and affordability.

With Battery Flex BaaS pricing model, the Ultraviolette X-47 is priced at Rs 1.49 lakh + battery rental. This is a price reduction of 40% i.e. approximately Rs 1 lakh. By reducing upfront purchase costs, Ultraviolette is encouraging more motorcycle enthusiasts to explore the green side of motorcycling.
After purchasing the Ultraviolette X-47 for Rs 1.49 lakh, users will be subjected to the battery subscription model and will have to pay amounts starting from Rs 2,499 per month. On its official website, Ultraviolette has explained in detail about the BaaS pricing where you make a minimum payment of 1,000 km per month and pay Rs 2.5 to Rs 4.8 per km.

As seen in the detailed description above, BaaS prices vary with variants. Ultraviolette Automotive has partnered with Ecofy to launch its first BaaS pricing model. At the end of the battery subscription period, ownership of the battery is transferred to the owner at no additional cost. The battery pack with BaaS model has a warranty of 5 years.
The X-47 comes with two main battery pack options – a 7.1 kWh battery pack that promises a range of 211 km and then a larger 10.3 kWh battery pack that promises to go up to 323 km on a single charge. The maximum power is 40.2 bhp and the top speed can go up to 145 km/h. The most notable feature of the X-47 is the industry’s first radar-based ADAS suite.
