market overview

The February 2026 figures show a strong recovery in demand for two-wheelers, especially in the domestic market where most brands recorded double-digit growth. Export markets also remained stable, contributing significantly to the overall sales of companies like Bajaj and TVS. Despite the strong year-on-year performance, the slight month-on-month decline indicates a decline in dispatches following strong January volumes, a common trend seen towards the end of the financial year.
