Porsche India has listed the latest version of the 911 GT3 on its website and the configurator has gone live, showing a price tag of Rs 3.33 crore (ex-sh). If you’re aware of Porsche’s options and checklists, this price is for a base vehicle without any optional extra ticks and pretty much ranges from there.
For Porsche fanatics, this is the 992.2 generation of the 911 GT3 and is now one of the most sought-after hardcore track-focused versions of the 911 family. This 992.2 model was first launched globally in October 2024 and took about a year and a half to make its way to the Indian market.

Porsche 911 GT3 launched in India
Where design is concerned, some would argue that the Porsche 992.2 version of the 911 GT3 looks exactly like any other 911. But Porsche fans know better. It is an extension of the exterior design of the 911 Carrera with unique and sportier elements that enhance its aerodynamic performance. The images on the Porsche website are of the Weissach package.
The fascia is unique to the 911 GT3 with a new bonnet with 2 ducts that circulate air. It also has large air intakes and a large front splitter. There is a larger rear spoiler, new rear diffuser, centrally located dual tip exhaust, connected LED tail lights, GT3 badging and more. From the sides, we can see the iconic Porsche silhouette and the beautiful forged magnesium wheels of the Weissach package.

The front wheel is 20-inch and the rear wheel is 21-inch and they are wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. Other notable Weissach Package elements include carbon fiber elements on the bonnet, roof, bolt-on CFRP roll cage, lightweight doors and other chassis components for added stiffness and lightness, an ideal combination for a track-focused car.
On the inside, the 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3 is quite similar to the 911 Carrera and we can see many similarities like the 10.9-inch infotainment screen, 12.6-inch digital driver cockpit, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging pad, 4-way electrically powered sports seats, 8-speaker sound system and more.

4.0L Flat-6 NA Petrol Engine
Elements like the traditional gear knob, upholstery with GT3 branding and other trim pieces are unique to the GT3 and if you have the Sport Chrono package, there’s an analog stopwatch on the dashboard. A Manthey kit for the 911 GT3 is available for just Rs 1 crore, while the Weissach package you see in the pictures is priced at Rs 43.9 lakh.
Powering the 992.2 version of the Porsche 911 GT3 is a 4.0L non-hybrid naturally aspirated flat-6 engine. Without a turbocharger, throttle response is almost instant and this engine can rev up to 9,000 rpm. Peak power is 510 bhp, peak torque is 450 Nm, mated to a sole 7-speed PDK dual-clutch, which is demanding. Power is sent only to the rear wheels, top speed is 311 km/h and 0-100 km/h takes just 3.4 seconds.
