Weather Updates Live Today: According to weather officials, winds gusting up to 111 km per hour lashed parts of Delhi on Tuesday evening, while the maximum temperature in the national capital remained well above normal.
Palam recorded the highest wind speed of 111 km per hour in the evening, while the maximum wind speed of 48 km per hour was recorded in Pusa area.
Among stations in the city, Ridge recorded the highest maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius, 3.6 degrees above normal, followed by Lodhi Road at 44 degrees Celsius, nearly 4 degrees above normal.
Palam recorded a high of 43.8 degrees Celsius, 2.8 degrees above normal, Ayanagar 43.6 degrees Celsius, about 1.5 degrees above normal, and Safdarjung 43.5 degrees Celsius, about 3.5 degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature in Safdarjung was recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius, which is 1.6 degrees above normal. Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees below normal, while Lodhi Road recorded a minimum temperature of 27.4 degrees Celsius, 0.4 degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature at the Ridge was 28.3 degrees Celsius and Ayanagar was 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and lightning at isolated places on Wednesday.
