Manalur: A young man died tragically when a tree fell due to strong winds. The deceased is Vishnu (28), son of wood cutter Tripranath Subaran, resident of Gotham Road, Manalur 2nd Ward.

Vishnu was sleeping in the shed near the house while doing household work. In the strong night wind, a tree in the field fell on the thatch. In the morning Vishnu was found trapped under a tree.
After receiving the information, the fire brigade from Natika reached the spot and cut the tree, but by then it had died. Local people did the rescue.
Vishnu has only mother. Father Subaran has already died. An approved house is being constructed in life. The household work is finished. Mother Valliamma used to live in this house. Local people told that usually Vishnu also sleeps here.
