
India’s two-wheeler exports recorded strong growth in FY26, reflecting improving demand in Africa, Latin America, South Asia and other emerging markets. Total exports stood at 51,80,395 units in FY2026, registering a healthy growth of 23.44% as compared to 41,96,605 units exported in FY2025. Year-on-year export volume increased by 9.83 lakh units. The export market was largely dominated by commuter motorcycles, with products from Bajaj Auto, TVS Motor, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, Yamaha and Suzuki accounting for the majority of the volume.
Performance as per OEM
OEM-wise exports show that Bajaj continued to dominate India’s two-wheeler export market with 18.80 lakh units and 36.29% share in FY26. However, TVS was the biggest volume gainer among major OEMs, adding 3.41 lakh units year-on-year to reach 14.13 lakh exports, a growth of 31.81%. Bajaj and TVS’ share in total two-wheeler exports stood at 63.57%, highlighting their strong presence in the overseas commuter motorcycle markets.

Honda stood at the third position with a growth of 23.16% at 6.20 lakh units, while Hero registered a strong growth of 39.19% at 4.03 lakh units. Yamaha and Suzuki also posted steady growth, with Suzuki’s 25.68% growth leading among Japanese brands. Royal Enfield exports grew 22.58% to 1.31 lakh units, supported by demand for Classic, Himalayan and 650cc models. KTM was the fastest growing established OEM, with exports more than doubling to 61,585 units. On the other hand, Triumph, Aprilia, BMW and Husqvarna witnessed declines, indicating pressure in select premium export segments.
Top 50 two-wheeler exports in FY 2026
TVS Star City 125 emerged as India’s most exported two-wheeler with shipments of 7,20,258 units in FY2026. Exports increased by 41.38% compared to 5,09,449 units exported in FY2025. The share of this model alone in the total two-wheeler exports from India was 13.90%. Bajaj Boxer 110 took the second position with exports at 5,49,940 units, up 9.60% year-on-year. The Boxer remains one of Bajaj’s strongest products in the African markets due to its robust build and durability.

The third position was taken by Bajaj Pulsar 160-200 with exports of 2,36,951 units, followed by Bajaj Boxer 125 with exports of 1,99,760 units. The Boxer 125 was one of the fastest growing high-volume models, registering a growth of 106.62% over FY2025. TVS Star City 110 joined the top five with exports of 1,96,522 units.
Bajaj Auto maintained a strong presence in export markets. Apart from the Boxer and Pulsar models, strong contributors were the CT 125 (1,77,235 units), CT 110 (1,66,392 units), Pulsar 125 (1,11,403 units), Pulsar 250 (64,915 units) and Boxer 150 (1,21,894 units). The company had seven models in the top 20 export motorcycles, underscoring its wide reach in developing markets.
Honda Navi surprises again
One of the most interesting names in the ranking was Honda Navi. Despite being discontinued in India years ago, Navi continues to enjoy strong export demand with shipments of 1,72,790 units in FY26, up 20.34% year-on-year. Honda also posted strong figures with the Dio (1,36,960 units), Shine 125 (55,899 units), Hornet 2.0 (38,509 units) and Dio 125 (36,335 units).
TVS Motor had a particularly strong export year. Apart from the Star City 125 and Star City 110, Sport exports grew 65.48% year-on-year to 1,48,799 units. Apache exports increased to 1,32,880 units, while Ntorq exports crossed 97,000 units. TVS XL also registered an impressive growth of 149.07%, reaching 20,982 units.
Hero picks up speed
Hero MotoCorp continues to expand its global footprint. HF Deluxe exports grew 57.68% to 96,047 units, while Extreme 125R more than doubled to 76,530 units. Among Hero’s standout performers was the Zoom 125, which grew 459.30% to 46,545 units. Splendor 110, Glamor and Passion also recorded strong growth.
Yamaha FZ remained the company’s strongest export model with 1,58,210 units, growing 28.86% year-on-year. The RayZR, MT-15, R15 and FZ25 also made significant contributions. Suzuki’s export performance was led by Gixxer with 1,47,658 units, followed by Burgman (40,853 units), Access (26,046 units) and Gixxer 250 (21,795 units).
Expansion of premium motorcycle exports
The premium motorcycle segment also saw good growth. KTM 390 exports increased by 262.75% to 32,212 units. Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 sales crossed 27,915 units, while Himalayan’s sales were recorded at 25,963 units. Royal Enfield’s newly introduced Guerrilla 450 recorded exports of 11,296 units, while exports of the 650 twins reached 16,173 units. Honda’s premium motorcycles like the H’ness 350 and CB350 also registered triple-digit growth rates.
EV exports still small but growing
Exports of electric two-wheelers remained relatively low compared to ICE motorcycles, but growth was evident. TVS iQube exports increased to 3,860 units, while Ather exported 2,383 units of 450X and 461 units of Rizta. Bajaj Chetak recorded one of the highest growth rates in the industry, growing from just 125 units in FY2025 to 1,904 units in FY2026.
