The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has completed all arrangements for conducting the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (A.P. EAPCET)-2026, scheduled to be held on May 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19 and 20 across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Council Secretary B. Tirupati Rao, in a release, said that a total of 3,55,011 candidates had applied for the examination through the online mode this year. The entrance test would be conducted in computer-based format in two sessions – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.. The exam is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)-Kakinada and N. Mohan Rao has been appointed as the convener.
Students would be allowed to enter the examination centres from 7.30 a.m. for the morning session and from 12.30 p.m. for the afternoon session.
Mr. Rao said no candidate would be allowed to enter the exam centre even a minute after the stipulated time and only hall ticket, application form, valid photo ID proof and ballpoint pen would be allowed inside the exam hall. Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smart watches and other devises are strictly prohibited, he added.
A total of 142 examination centres have been arranged for A.P. EAPCET-2026, spread across 48 towns in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The QR code on the hall ticket indicates the exact location of the test centre, he informed.
